Net Zero Notions was founded in 2025, inspired by the Net Zero 2030 goal for the Town of Eagle, Colorado. “We recognize the opportunity to accelerate a clean energy transition for organizations chasing audacious climate goals”, said President Geoff Grimmer. “By working closely with policy leaders, start-up firms, climate action non-profits and electric utilities, we have learned some short cuts to save our clients time and money.”

NZN supports towns and counties as they chase cost savings and pollution reduction. We connect climate tech start-ups with key decision makers in Colorado, while facilitating community discussions, green workforce trainings, and board retreats. Co-Founder

Geoff Grimmer

Geoff Grimmer is the former Chair of the Eagle County Climate Action Collaborative, a Councilmember in the Town of Eagle, and Board Director with the Northwest Colorado Council of Governments. In 2025, Geoff presented Net Zero solutions at the Colorado Municipal League, the Rocky Mountain Utility Exchange, and Mountain Towns 2030. Geoff holds a BS in Finance from the Carlson School of Management. He serves as President and Co-Founder of NZN.

Chris Grimmer

Chris Grimmer is the former Director of Engineering at Banyan Energy, a Staff Engineer at Tesla Energy (2012-2021), and holds a PhD from University of California Berkeley in Mechanical Engineering. Chris serves as the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of NZN.
